Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (BMMB), through its Jariah Fund public crowdfunding platform, implemented the 'Kempen Pustaka Mesra OKU Penglihatan' by contributing RM8,331 to the Malaysia Association for the Blind (MAB).
The contribution was presented by Tuan Haji Zaharuddin Alias, Head of Social Finance Department, BMMB, to Dato’ George Thomas, Chief Executive Officer of MAB.
The initiative aims to support the purchase of audio book recording equipment and braille book production tools, including a computer set, speakers, microphones, a binding machine and a photocopier, to enhance access to knowledge and learning facilities for the visually impaired community at the H.T. Ong Library, MAB Complex.
